replacement headstone?

Most Monument Dealers in the country want an excellent stone, but sadly there are fewer quarries and higher pricing. Often today, families needing a traditional headstone has to wait, and the cost is out of reach for most. As a result, the cemetery burial grave plot often remains for years and perhaps never gets a tombstone or a marker or small plaque.
We have seen this need repeatedly in our cemetery service business; burials and headstones have become a significant financial investment, so looking for other alternatives is being considered.
But unfortunately, even the cemetery associations or parish graveyards can not obtain the needed cost; they would like to keep staff and cemetery grounds and driveways looking nice.

Today, most extended families have no idea who is to maintain family graves; they think the cemetery or church holds the responsibility for the graves. Nor do families even know where their past families' plots are, so the cemetery grave gets abandoned; this is sad and should not be the end.
Talk to cemeterians or your local cemetery and learn the rules will help. Your Cemeteries need your expertise, don't leave them in the cold. Get involved, it Doesn't Hurt, and Cemeteries are part of your community.

Let us take the lead, it's important

REPAIR: Our Wisconsin Cemetery Services policy is not to repair broken Sandstone or Granite headstones. We know of no right way to restore old Sandstone headstones because of its material of sediment, mainly of sand or rock grains of quartz or feldspar that is very fragile and can Not be nicely restored. We feel any repair of sandstone would not present a respectful way to honor the loved one, family, or cemetery.
We encourage replacing the broken sandstone or granite headstone with new, or a marker or plaque easily obtained from local markets with better material.

REPLACE: Whatever your choice, we would like to help you with our professional services in the replacement.
Also, we now have in various colors, a Concrete Headstone with improved superior Strength, using today's technology for much less cost, then a small sandstone or granite headstone replacement.

Footstone:
It is always placed at the opposite end of the headstone they correspond to. These stones are used to mark the foot of a grave or Plot, serving as a boundary line of the burial plot. However, the shape, a footstone is used to provide additional information about the interred burial and or family if a family Lot.

Cornerstones: Are used to mark the boundary lines with four cornerstones of a family Lot, which is usually more than two grave plots but of 6 or 8 grave plots, making it a Lot.
